St. Joseph Hub 

We are located at St. Joseph School in Corunna.  The hub has a clinic room, a meeting room, a multipurpose room and an office for staff and professional use.  The YMCA offers care for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, JK/SK Wrap program, and before and after school care. 

The OEYC offers Infant Massage, Fun with Baby, Family Math, Alphabet Fun and Science to the families in the school, child care centre, OEYC  and the community. 

Twice a year the YMCA and OEYC work in partnership to provide special family event, to bring everyone together.  In June we have our Annual Family Picnic and Pow Wow and in February we celebrate winter. 

The clinic room is used on a weekly basis by our community partners.  It is used by Pathways for speech and language by the community health nurse for hearing assessments and school professionals. 

The meeting room is available to our community partners as well as for school meetings. 

The Ontario Early Years Centre has partnered with St. Joseph Catholic School to deliver the Roots of Empathy Program.  This program is an evidenced based program that has shown dramatic effect in reducing levels of aggression and violence among school children, while raising social/emotional competence and increasing empathy.  This program involves a family, parents and baby and a classroom of children for nine months.  The children, with an instructor, explore a new theme monthly, relating it to the growth and development of the classroom baby and themselves and others.
